If the load on the motor is small, the MotorStar® system will switch into savings mode and will achieve savings of between 8.5 and 10 per cent. MotorStar® has a range of applications and is ideal for plastic moulding machines, fans, pumps, presses or any other lightly loaded motor. Typically, the MotorStar® system can pay for its investment in just over a year to a year and a half. An added benefit is that it reduces the temperature of the motor which will, over time, increase the life expectancy of the motor and lessens the servicing requirement.
